Trading "Daughter" of SOCAR to Supply Oil and Liquefied Natural Gas to Poland
SOCAR Trading (trading "daughter» of SOCAR) will supply crude oil and liquefied natural gas to Poland, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Warsaw stated.
«SOCAR Trading and the Polish oil company Lotos reached agreement on transportation of oil to Poland, as well as the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the coastal terminal in Gdansk, located in the north of this country,” the information says.
According to the Embassy, this agreement was reached during a meeting between representatives of the two companies, which took place in Warsaw as part of the 7th meeting of Azerbaijan-Poland Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on Economic Cooperation (December 18-21).
Energy Minister Natig Aliyev, who co-chairs the IPC from the Azerbaijani side, in his speech invited Polish companies to Azerbaijan, noting that the country is open to foreign investment, and there are many areas and projects in which the companies from Poland could invest.
