Trading House of Azerbaijan Established in Minsk
LLC Trade House of Azerbaijan has been established in Belarus in order to promote Azerbaijani goods under the brand Made in Azerbaijan. The company was registered on February 20 at the Minsk city executive committee, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan said.
The objectives of the Trade House include the promotion and propaganda of Azerbaijani goods, market research, organization of Azerbaijani companies' participation in exhibitions united stand, and business linkages with potential clients.
The government envisages a similar structure in Ukraine.
Prior to that, the Ministry of Economy appointed a sales representative at the embassy in the Russian Federation.
In 2016 Azerbaijan increased exports of goods ($ 48.2 million) to Belarus 4.8 times. Import of Belarusian goods amounted to $ 73.3 million, which is 8.2% less than in 2015. ----08D
