USD rose on the foreign exchange auction of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The auction began with AZN 1.7662 and finished with AZN 1.7707 per USD.
Since mid-October, the dollar has been steadily increasing. At the same time, commercial banks for the second month have been refusing to sell foreign currency to the population.
The USD selling and buying rate in the black market hovers around AZN 1.90 – AZN 1.91. -71-
