VTB Azerbaijan to Finance Purchase of 50 New Buses
In preparation for the first European Games Baku-2015 Bank VTB Azerbaijan provided a loan of AZN 7 million to the company Safa Trans for the purchase of 50 new buses.
The first 25 buses have already been delivered to Baku and began work on city routes. The vehicles brand Isuzu City Bus made in Turkey have all the conditions for a safe and comfortable journey of the passengers. The buses meet the environmental standards EURO-5, are equipped with air conditioning and heating, have special compartments for children, the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as are manned for the movement of passengers with wheelchairs, according to the press service of the bank.
Each bus is designed for 27 seats.
According to the Ministry of Taxes, Ltd. Safa Trans was founded on 28 February this year and has a registered capital of 50 manat.
VTB Bank Azerbaijan is a subsidiary of JSC Bank VTB. The shareholders of the bank are Bank VTB - 51% and Ata Holding – 48.99%. --08D-

The draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code," adopted in its third reading, provides for tax exemptions on the sale of locally manufactured buses in Azerbaijan and the supply of spare parts for these vehicles. This was reported by the Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, explaining that the government's initiative aims to support business development in the country by reducing the tax burden. The exemption will come into effect on January 1, 2025, and will remain valid for eight years.
