President: Azerbaijan to Conduct International Audit of Country's Energy System
Baku/06.07.18/ Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev ordered to provide an international audit of the country's electric power system, which faced outage on Tuesday due to the accident at Mingachevir Thermal Power Plant.
"The action plan should be prepared in order to prevent the recurrence of such accidents and paralysis of the entire power system of the country. In this action plan, it is necessary to include an item on conducting an international audit of the Mingachevir TPP, as well as the entire energy system of the country. For this it is necessary to attract an authoritative international company," Aliyev said on Wednesday at a meeting on the situation in the country's energy system.
The initiative of conducting international audit of Mingachevir TPP was offered by the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kemalleddin Heydarov. -0-
