Azerbaijani banks raise their balance sheet capital by 8 percent

As of the end of February 2024, the Azerbaijani banks had a balance sheet capital of 6,187.3 million manats. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is up by 0.6 percent from the end of January. The balance sheet capital of banks rose by 2 percent as compared to the end of the last year and by 7.9 percent over the past year.
