Azerbaijani banks reduce their debt to Central Bank by more than 2 times

As of the end of September 2024, Azerbaijani banks had liabilities to the Central Bank in the amount of AZN 44.8 million. This is stated in the banking review published by the regulator. Judging by the document, this is the same as that at the end of August. The banks' debt to the Central Bank declined by 4.9% as compared to the end of the last year, and by 2.4 times over the past year.
