Azerbaijan's banks increase their balance sheet capital by more than 6%

As of the end of July 2024 the Azerbaijani banks had a balance sheet capital of AZN 6,215 million. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is down by 0.4% from the end of June. However, the balance sheet capital of banks was up by 2.5% as compared to the end of the last year and by 6.4% over the past year.
