Fuat Oktay: 6,479 search and rescue teams arrived from 75 countries
Anadolu: Vice President Fuat Oktay said that 17,674 people died as a result of the earthquakes in Kahramanmarash.
Oktay made statements at the AFAD Coordination Center regarding earthquakes with an epicenter in the districts of Pazardzhik and Elbistan Kahramanmarasha, which affected 10 provinces.
Expressing gratitude to everyone who made efforts, Oktay noted that 121 citizens were rescued from the rubble over the past day.
Noting that 29,622 rescue groups are currently on the ground, Oktay said their activities will not end until they reach every village.
Stating that 6,479 search and rescue teams arrived from 75 countries.
"I regret to state that at the moment 17,674 people have become victims of a natural disaster. The number of wounded is 72 thousand 879 people."
