In Crimea, a freight train derailed
telegraph.co.uk: A Ukrainian official claimed that Russian railway lines transporting weapons and ammunition for the war in Ukraine have become fatigued, following a recent blast that derailed a freight train on a railway line in occupied Crimea.
Andrii Yusov, a representative from Ukraine's defense ministry's intelligence department, stated on Ukrainian television that these railway lines carry various items, including weapons, ammunition, and armored vehicles used in the aggression against Ukraine. These supplies aim to harm Ukrainian civilians and defenders.
Yusov remarked, "It is only natural that these railway lines could not sustain the burden and have become exhausted, leading to their current dysfunctionality."
As a result of the incident, rail traffic has been suspended between Sevastopol and Simferopol, the two major cities in Crimea. Crimean railways attributed the disruption to the "intervention of third parties."
