New Foreign Minister of Armenia Appointed
Yerevan / 11/18/20 / Turan: Ara Ayvazyan has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The corresponding decree was signed on Wednesday by the President of Armenia Armen Sarkisian.
A day earlier, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan resigned from the post of Armenian Foreign Minister.
Note that on October 16, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed Ayvazyan as Deputy Foreign Minister.
Prior to that, Ayvazyan served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. He also served as the RA Ambassador to Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama. By the decree of President Armen Sarkisian, he was recalled to Yerevan. -0-
