The number of victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall has exceeded 60 people
RBC: The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that more than 60 people were killed in the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall.
Investigators are examining the bodies of the dead.
"Unfortunately, the number of victims may increase," the UK said in a statement posted on the telegram channel.
The Islamic State terrorist organization (ISIL), banned in Russia, claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. This is reported by Reuters.
Also, The New York Times writes that ISIS has claimed responsibility. The publication claims that "US officials have confirmed this statement [by ISIS]." The newspaper writes that American officials in March gathered "intelligence" that the Islamic State of Khorasan, based in Afghanistan, was planning an attack in Moscow. In March, the FSB announced that it had eliminated terrorists from the Vilayat Khorasan terrorist organization banned in Russia, whose members were planning an attack on a synagogue in Moscow.
The participants in the attack on Crocus City Hall allegedly fled in a white Renault Symbol, RIA Novosti and Kommersant reported.
They post photos of a white car. The picture published by Kommersant shows two people in the front seat, one of them wearing a cap and clothes similar to camouflage. Presumably, the car has a tinted rear window in the old body, RIA Novosti adds.
