Turkish air force intercepted 6 F16 fighters of the Greek air force
The Turkish air force intercepted 6 F16 fighters of the Greek air force over the Mediterranean sea, taking off from the island of Crete.
This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of national defense of Turkey.
The interception was carried out over the area of work of Turkish vessels engaged in field exploration, the defense Ministry said.
The Turkish air force and Navy continue to resolutely protect the country's rights and interests in the Eastern Mediterranean, the statement said.
