194 Children Returned to Country from Iraq in 2020 - Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry
Baku / 29.12.20 / Turan: In 2020, 194 children of Azerbaijani citizens who are in Iraqi prisons were returned to Azerbaijan and after rehabilitation were transferred to the care of their relatives. This is stated in the annual report of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
According to the official information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, 1,477 citizens of Azerbaijan went to Syria and Iraq, where they wanted to join illegal armed groups. 903 people (749 men and 154 women) died or disappeared there. -03-
