Baku/15.09.21/Turan: The march of a group of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, timed to the 103rd anniversary of the liberation of the capital of the country by the Caucasian Islamic Army, took place today in the city of Shusha, liberated from Armenian occupation. 150 military personnel are accompanied by a military band.
The video about the march was shared by the chairman of the board of the state reserve of the city of Shusha, Maftun Abbasov.
On September 15, 1918, the Caucasian Islamic Army (consisted of military units of Turkey and Azerbaijan), after heavy fighting, liberated Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak forces. This became an important stage in the formation of an independent state - the Azerbaijan People's Republic and allowed the government to move from Ganja to Baku. -02D-
