Baku/18.06.21/Turan: The Armenian representation of the Gallup International Association published the results of a poll on June 18, according to which 51.1% of Armenian voters will take part in the upcoming June 20 parliamentary elections. The respondents answered they will vote for:
The "Armenia" bloc - 28.7% (leader Robert Kocharian);
Party "Civil Contract" - 25.2% (Nikol Pashinyan);
“Have the honor” Bloc - 10.8% (Artur Vanetsyan);
Prosperous Armenia Party - 5.4% (Gagik Tsarukyan);
Party "Enlightened Armenia" - 5.2% (Edmon Marukyan).
The last two parties, together with Pashinyan's party, are represented in the current parliament. -02D-

On February 15 and 18, 2025, the website Day.az published articles containing defamatory allegations about the activities of the Turan news agency. In these materials, the author attempts to portray the agency as dependent on Western funding and subordinated to the interests of foreign entities.

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
