Act of Vandalism against Turkish Memorial in Crimea
In Sevastopol, again there was an act of vandalism against the Turkish memorial, the head of the Azerbaijani community of Crimea Rahim Humbatov wrote on his Facebook.
Vandals wrote insulting words on the index showing the direction to the memorial erected in honor of the Turkish soldiers killed in the Crimean War.
This is not the first case of abuse of the memory of those killed in the city-hero. In 2009, partially destroyed was a monument to Azerbaijani soldiers - participants in the liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazis.
In 2014 the Turkish memorial was desecrated. In May this year, new vandalism was committed against the Azerbaijani monument. -02D-
