The lawyer of young activists, Asabali Mustafayev, said that he will send the cases of the fined to the Court of Appeal. "In this action the authorities wanted to test the new law, trying to stop the people's participation in the actions. In spite of this, the action has become the mass one.
Twenty five participants were fined a large sum, and if the Court of Appeal leaves them in force, we will appeal to the Supreme Court," said the lawyer.
Head of Organization "Positive Change", Narmin Rahimli, reported that as a result of donations, 481 people gathered 6135 manats. There is also private donations, and collective. Among these groups are newspapers, shopping centers and universities. People in Germany, Turkey, Russia, Canada and other countries also joined the campaign “five gepiks.”
