Advisor to the head of PPFA is detained
Adviser to the head PPFA, Mahammad Ibrahim, was arrested today in Baku by the police near the "Narimanov" metro station. He was taken to the Police station 40.
The PPFA believes that detention is connected with the upcoming rally of opposition to be held on August 18. In particular, the authorities try intimidate citizens and prevent mass rally.
The statement of PPFA also reported the closure of the tea house in Sumgait in front of the Culture House named after Narimanov, a place of gathering the opposition members. Because of the lack of offices of opposition parties in Sumgait, the activists of political parties meet and discuss their affairs in this place. -05B06-
