After the meeting in Sochi, tricky Serzh emboldened
Yerevan.11.08.14.Turan-ArmInfo: The Parties to the agreement are required to adhere to the ceasefire from 1994 to 1995. In an interview with the Armenian media, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said, commenting on the results of his meeting with Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
"We are negotiating on the basis of the Madrid principles. Alternative to peace negotiations does not exist," he said.
Speaking about the political situation in Armenia, Sargsyan stressed the importance of national reconciliation. "When we beat Azerbaijan in the early 90s, it was also due to the public split in this country," he said, urging the Armenian opposition "under no war, no peace to be more restrained in their statements."
Next Sargsyan responded to the threat of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan to bomb Yerevan. "Armenia has ballistic missiles with a range of 300 km, which can turn into ruins any location. If someone is aiming to Yerevan, then let him think about the consequences," he said. -02D-
