Air Force Joint Exercise of Azerbaijan and Turkey Started
The Air Force of Azerbaijan and Turkey in accordance with the plan of military cooperation will begin tactical exercise Eagle Tur-Az 2015 on August 22.
As the press service of the Defense Ministry said, the exercise will be attended by more than 30 aircraft of the Air Force of the two countries, including MiG-29, F-16, Su-25 bombers, F-4E, military transport aircraft C-130 Hercules, combat helicopters Mi-35, Mi-17 and Sikorsky, a military transport helicopter UH-60 and a search and rescue helicopter Cougar AS532.
The exercise will work out measures for planning joint activities between the two countries’ air force, interaction during operations, military compatibility, search and rescue, as well as attacking ground targets from the air. The exercises will continue until 18 September. -16D-

On November 13, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Afghan Taliban held talks in Baku as part of the COP29 conference. According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.
