Ali Hasanov accuses Azerbaijani diplomats of treason, and gave instruction to the EU states

Today the head of the state committee  for refugees, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov held an event in the department in connection with the adoption by the European Parliament resolution on Azerbaijan.  The heads of the occupied regions, and deputies from these territories have been invited  to the meeting.

Hasanov criticized the European Parliament resolution criticizing  human rights in Azerbaijan and accused the European Parliament of "abuse of power", because it was not competent  to adopt documents on Azerbaijan.

Hasanov regarded the resolution as a manifestation of "jealousy and envy to the achievements of Azerbaijan." At the same time, the Armenian Diaspora influences  the Europeans because it is afraid of strengthening Azerbaijani army, he said.

Hasanov  also pointed to the powerlessness of Europe to solve the problem of “50-60 thousand refugees” urged to follow the example of Azerbaijan which  has received  one million internally displaced people.

He also criticized the Azerbaijani diplomats for bad work with MEPs, and gave the  information about vote for the resolution of the countries.

Of the 86 German deputies  46 voted for the anti-Azerbaijani resolution, out of 17 Austrian – 12 voted “for”,  of 13 Danish - 8,5 voted “for”,  of  five Estonian - 4  voted “for:, out of 47 Spanish – 34, and most Italian deputies also voted for this resolution. "What do our ambassadors  do in those countries?" asked  Hasanov.

"What are they doing at these high  positions of ambassador? Some are making their business, while others betray," e continued. "Most of our delegation did not carry out any work, they traveled to Europe as tourists,"  said Ali Hasanov

The meeting resulted in the  adoption of the appeal to the President Ilham Aliyev,  expressing  call to  be "more close" around the president.

The appeal also calls on the European Parliament to abolish the unjust resolution, and the EU countries' Heads of State  are urged to "replace their deputies in the European Parliament  with more fair ones." -06D-
