On 7-11 March aide Ali Hasanov made a visit to Japan. The purpose of the visit is to exchange views on the prospects of development of bilateral relations and intensify cooperation, said in a statement. During the visit, Hasanov met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan, a member of parliament Hiroshige Seko. Hasanov handed Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe a letter from President Ilham Aliyev, with an invitation to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. Hasanov was also received by the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Health and Sports Takeo Hirata, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Miki Yamada. During the visit, Hasanov informed the Japanese side on the projects TAP and TANAP, «Shah Deniz" field on the development of transport and communication projects, the East-West and North-South, and invited the Japanese side to participate in these projects. -02D-
