Aliyev and Erdogan discussed the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan /UPDATED/
Baku/25.02.23/Turan: Presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan Erdogan and Aliyev held closed talks in Istanbul on Saturday.
According to the press service of the President of Turkey, Ilham Aliyev expressed his condolences and solidarity in connection with the numerous victims of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey.
In turn, the press service of the President of Azerbaijan reported that during the conversation, prospects and further deepening of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the political, economic, trade, energy, military and military-technical fields were discussed.
The heads of state also exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the peace agenda.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
