Aliyev received Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States
Baku/20.10.23/Turan: On Friday President Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the United States Joshua Huck, who is touring the countries of the region.
According to the administration of the head of state, issues of ensuring peace and stability in the region were discussed during the meeting, and views were exchanged on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Ilham Aliyev reiterated his readiness to normalize relations with Armenia and continue negotiations on the early conclusion of a peace treaty.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
Note that Joshua Huck is touring the region during October 15-27, the program of which includes visits to Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. -03B06-
