"Armenia has canceled an already agreed meeting" - Ilham Aliyev
Baku/18.05.22/Turan: Armenia canceled the already agreed meeting of the working group on border delimitation. This was stated today by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in a joint statement to the press after talks in Baku with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
“Azerbaijan created a working group in a timely manner and was ready to send a delegation. This was agreed with the Armenian side. By the way, the first meeting on the border was proposed by the Armenian Foreign Ministry. Azerbaijan accepted this offer and we were ready to send a delegation. However, at the last moment, on April 29, Armenia canceled the agreed meeting. This is a disappointing question,” Aliyev said.
According to him, Armenia also refused the new date of the meeting proposed by Azerbaijan for May 7-11.
According to him, Azerbaijan is now expecting a new date from Armenia to start work.
“Of course, such an irresponsible position (of Armenia) causes concern,” Aliyev said. -06V-
