Armenia made a gesture to Turkey by handing over Kurdish terrorists
Baku/25.09.22/Turan: Yerevan made a serious gesture towards Turkey, extraditing two Kurdish terrorists who had taken refuge in Armenia. This was announced by the deputy of the Armenian parliament Gegham Manukyan, accusing the Armenian authorities of betrayal. According to him, these Kurds were active participants in the 44-day war in Karabakh.
Kurdish sources confirmed on September 25 that two militants with the passwords "Leheng" and "Alisher" were handed over to Turkish intelligence MIT.
This was also reported by a Turkish source Sözçü.com.tr referring to the verdict of the Armenian court published on the website DataLex.am
“Forgive us, brothers, that the Armenians gave your children into the hands of the Turks, where they will die,” Manukyan wrote on his Facebook page.
We are talking about the extradition of Atilla Chicek and Hussein Yildirim. The Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) stated that these individuals fought in eastern Turkey and surrendered to the Armenians on the Turkish-Armenian border in August 2021.
RKK believes that Pashinyan took this step on the eve of the upcoming meeting with Erdogan in Prague on October 6. The Kurds accused Armenia of violating international and national laws.
Meanwhile, the National Security Service and the Ministry of Justice of Armenia denied their participation in the extradition of the Kurds to Turkey. At the same time, the SNB, however, Services reported that this was done "within the framework of a criminal case."
It should be noted that this is the first case of the extradition of Kurds by Armenia to Turkey. Until now, the Kurds have been allies of the Armenians in the fight against the Turks. Kurdish fighters took part on the side of the Armenians during the two Karabakh wars. -0-
