Armenia makes it clear that it will not change prisoners on the principle of "all for all"
Baku / 02.09.20 / Turan: After the capture of the Armenian officer Gurgen Alaverdyan, the issue of the exchange of all Armenian prisoners of war for Azerbaijanis in Armenian captivity was once again topical.
Earlier, the Armenian side refused to extradite two residents of Kalbajar - Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who were captured in the territory of Kalbajar occupied by the Armenians. Yerevan considers them to be saboteurs who have committed the murder of a teenager.
Today, official Yerevan made it clear that its position has not changed and Armenia will not change Askerov and Guliyev for its military.
The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan said at a briefing on Wednesday that far-fetched accusations are being brought against persons taken prisoner "under unknown circumstances" in Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijan is trying to take back two citizens, the murderers of the underage Smbat Tsakanyan. The murder of a minor is a serious crime in any society. I think the answer is more than clear, ”said Naghdalyan. -02D-
