Armenian Defense Ministry Accused Azerbaijan of Aggravation of Situation
Yerevan / 12.08.15 / Turan-ArmInfo: Right after the European Games Azerbaijan began intensely to destabilize the situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the line of contact in Karabakh, the Armenian Defense Ministry said.
During this period, Azerbaijan every day violates the ceasefire, using weapons of different caliber and 60 and 82 mm mortars. Only on 11-12 August the Azerbaijani side fired 102 mortar shells 82 mm and two Azerbaijani diversionary groups attempted to penetrate the border.
"The Armenian side has repeatedly stated that such actions are self-deception and can cause unpredictable consequences for the Azerbaijani army," says the statement.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has not yet responded to the allegations. At the same time, in a daily summary of the situation at the front, it said that in the past day Armenian troops 121 times violated the ceasefire with mortars and large-caliber weapons. Bombardment was on the Azerbaijani positions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as well as Goygol, Goranboy, Tartar, Agdam, Fizuli and Jabrail directions. -02D-
