Armenians to Pay Compensation for Damage to Occupied Regions - Ilham Aliyev
Baku / 17.11.20 / Turan: On November 16, the head of state visited the Fizuli and Jabrayil regions of the country, liberated from occupation during the 44-day war.
Aliyev also visited the Hudaferin bridge located on the border with Iran, and raised the flag of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil.
In a brief statement to the press, Aliyev noted that in Fizuli and Jabrail, the Armenians did not leave a single whole house or other structures. “Everything has been destroyed and burned, the cities of Fizuli and Jabrayil are gone,” he said, showing the ruins of Jabrayil on the cameras.
“We will restore everything, and life will return here. Today in Kalbajar, the Armenians are doing the same vandalism as here - they burn houses, cut down forests and destroy infrastructure. Let them not think that they can get away with all this. We will demand compensation for the destroyed property and obtain payments,” Aliyev stressed. -02D-
