Authorities again restricted opposition visit to Khojaly victims' memorial
Baku / 26.02.20 / Turan: On the day of the next anniversary of the commemoration of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy, the authorities did not find anything better than to restrict access to the memorial to the victims of the opposition. At the same time, police provocateurs, and the police themselves did everything to provoke conflict and clashes.
The police established a cordon and did not let hundreds of people to bring flowers to the victims of Hojali tragedy.
Some of the opposition, whom everyone missed, were not allowed to the memorial to lay flowers.
These restrictions applied to two groups of opposition activists and supporters of the Musavat parties and the Popular Front.
Authorities take such steps every year in the days of nationwide mourning. It is not possible to understand the logic of such measures.-02B-
