Authorities Allowed Musavat Rally on December 14
Baku City Hall has authorized a meeting of the party Musavat on 14 December, demanding the release of political prisoners. Turan was told by the deputy chairman of the party Gulaga Aslanli.
The action will take place on Sunday at the stadium Mehsul in the Yasamal district from 15:00 to 17:00.
The main slogans of the action are: "Protection of human rights!", "Freedom to political prisoners!" and others.
The organizers expect that the action will be attended by about 3 thousand people.
"We invite all political parties, civil society, NGOs, youth organizations and citizens to participate in the rally. Human rights are a fundamental value and everyone has to defend them," said Aslanli. -03D-

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the President of Somalia to Baku "will open a new page in the close friendly relations" between the two countries. The "Union for the Freedom of Political Prisoners of Azerbaijan" has published an updated list of political prisoners, which includes 357 names. Compared to the previous list from December 12 last year, the number of political prisoners has increased by 26 individuals. Among them are journalists Farid Ismayilov, Shamshad Agha, Shahnaz Beylergizi, and 13 arrested during the unrest in Imishli, among others.
