Being in Baku on an official visit, Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehgan was received on April 20 by the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Yaver Jamalov.
During the negotiations, issues of cooperation in the defense industry and other issues of mutual interest were discussed, according to the official report.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan produces different arms and equipment for military purposes. Some of this equipment is produced in cooperation with foreign firms.
Several countries have purchased different types of weapons from Azerbaijan. It is possible that their number will include Iran, which is interested in certain types of defense products of Azerbaijan. -03D-
