Azerbaijan and Japan prepare a military agreement
Issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in the military sphere were discussed at the August 23 meeting of the Minister of Defense Safar Abiyev and Deputy Defense Minister of Japan, Masahisa Chateau.
Abiyev informed the guest about the military-political situation in the region, according to the press service of the Defense Ministry.
Referring to the Karabakh conflict, Abiyev said that efforts for a peaceful settlement of the problem do not bring concrete results, and if the situation continues to develop in the same way, Azerbaijan will have to use armed forces to liberate the occupied territories.
