Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan signed a package of bilateral documents
Baku/11.03.20/Turan: The talks between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on March 11 in Baku resulted in signing bilateral documents. In particular, intergovernmental agreements were signed on cooperation in the field of migration, on the mutual allocation of land for the Embassies of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan in both capitals.
The Protocol on Amendments to the intergovernmental agreement on automobile communication on May 19, 2008 was signed.
The agreements are aimed at enhancing partnerships in the transport and communications sector: Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies, as well as a Memorandum on the construction and operation of fiber-optic communication lines along the bottom of the Caspian Sea from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan; Protocol by the State Agency of Civil Aviation of Azerbaijan and the State Agency of Turkmenistan in the field of aviation.
Protocol on Cooperation for the Protection and Study of the Caspian Biodiversity. The humanitarian dialogue will be facilitated by: an agreement on cooperation between the Institute of Language and Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan; Cooperation Agreement between the state radio and radio of the two countries Memorandum of Understanding between state libraries; Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Seismology of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Management Systems of Azerbaijan; Protocol on cooperation between the Turkmen State University and Baku State University.
The parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of management and privatization of state property; Memorandum of cooperation in state registration of property rights; Memorandum of cooperation in the field of land cadaster; Memorandum of Understanding between the Union of Industrialists of Turkmenistan and the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Azerbaijan; Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Fund for the Promotion of Export and Investment of Azerbaijan. — 06В-
