Azerbaijan is developing military-technical ties with 30 countries
Because of the embargo imposed by the West on arms supplies to Azerbaijan, the country's military-technical cooperation with other countries is developing its defense industry. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Yahya Musayev at the conference on Friday at the exhibition of arms ADEX 2014.
Today Azerbaijan is developing military-technical cooperation with 30 countries, acquiring modern technology. "This is a partnership for a long term," said Musayev.
Azerbaijan has created a commission on cooperation in the defense sector with Turkey and several other countries. At the same time, the country conducts its own research and development and prepares professionals to create their own technology, as international partners do not often share technology, he said. -06C--
