President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on this on January 10. The purpose of the decree is to provide support to the citizens of the non-aligned countries for their education in Azerbaijani universities.
According to the document, starting from 2018, a grant program for education will be established for citizens of the Non-Aligned Movement countries at the level of basic education and residency in preparatory courses, as well as undergraduate, master's, doctoral and medical education.
Educational grants for five years will be issued annually to 20 students.
