Azerbaijan to send amphibious aircraft to fight fires in Turkey
Azerbaijan will send Be-200 amphibious aircraft to Turkey to fight forest fires. The decision was made on Saturday during a telephone conversation between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Erdogan.
It was the first contact between the two presidents in many weeks.
It should be noted that the strongest fires have been raging near the city of Izmir in Turkey for several days. The fire cannot be brought under control due to strong winds, which intensify the spread of fire.
