Azerbaijani Delegation to Security Event in Grozny
Today in Grozny opened the seventh international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues. The meeting in Grozny is attended by Security Council secretaries, ministers, assistants to Presidents and Prime Ministers for national security, and heads of intelligence agencies from more than 60 countries. The Russian delegation is headed by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, RIA Novosti reported.
The delegation of Azerbaijan is headed by the head of the Presidential Administration and the Security Council Ramiz Mehdiyev.
The main topics of the two-day meeting, which is held under the auspices of the Russian Security Council, are the issues of combating extremism and terrorism, the problem of ensuring regional and international security, migration, and creation of a system of international information security.
Such meetings are held every year on the initiative of the Russian Security Council in one of the Russian cities. The sixth international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues was held in the city of Ulan-Ude in June 2015. It was attended by representatives of 63 countries, as well as two UN delegations. -06D--

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
