Baku/07.07.22/Turan: Negotiations with Armenia over the peace agreement are not showing much progress, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters on Thursday..
According to him, "discussions" are still ongoing.
He explained this as being due to the "revanchist sentiments" in Armenian society. "However, they should understand that there is no alternative to long-term peace in the region," Bayramov said.
When it comes to the border delimitation, he also did not express much optimism as saying that no date of the next meeting of the bilateral delimitation commission has been determined. As a whole, the process will be long and not easy, Bayramov believes. -02D-
