Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to meet with OSCE Secretary General
Baku/25.05.21/Turan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has left for Austria on a working visit.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the visit, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is scheduled to meet with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), speak at a special session of the OSCE Permanent Council, as well as meet with high-ranking Austrian officials, heads of leading think tanks, heads of other international organizations operating in Vienna.
Azerbaijan was admitted to the Council for Security and Co-operation in Europe (CSCE) (since January 1, 1995-OSCE) on January 30, 1992. The OSCE is the first European organization that Azerbaijan has joined.
Azerbaijan participated for the first time in the CSCE summit held in Helsinki on July 8-10, 1992, and signed its documents.
Since February 1992, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict has been the object of increased attention of the member States in accordance with the principles of the CSCE. -03-
