Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry:Armenia is responsible for the escalation
The responsibility for the deterioration of the situation at the front rests on Armenia which committed aggression against Azerbaijan and occupation of Azerbaijani territory, reads the commentary of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman, Hikmet Hajiyev, in connection with today's announcement of President Serzh Sargsyan.
Targeted provocation of Armenia on escalation of tension is aiimed at preventing the resolution of the conflict, and the status quo resulting from the aggression and occupation against Azerbaijan.
Under the pretext of "aggravation of the situation at the front," the Armenian authorities want to divert attention from internal problems of their country. Numerous losses of Armenia at the front in the last few days were the result of this irresponsible policy of Yerevan.
In order to achieve settlement of the conflict, first it is required to withdraw the occupation Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories, and the removal of the fact of occupation, concluded Hajiyev. -06D-
