Azerbaijani President Congratulates Newly Elected EU Leaders
Baku / 07.07.19 / Turan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel.
"I hope that we will make joint efforts aimed at further expanding relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union, all-round development and deepening of our cooperation," the message says.
President Aliyev also congratulated the newly elected President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leien.
The head of state expressed his conviction that cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union will continue to develop successfully in the interests of both parties. -06D--
