Baku/06.03.23/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Hungarian Minister of Economic Development Marton Nagy today, the official website of the head of state reports.
As Aliyev noted, the visit of the Minister of Economic Development of Hungary creates a good opportunity to determine the directions of future cooperation based on previously reached agreements at the highest level.
Nagy thanked for the reception expressing condolences to the head of state due to the death of Azerbaijani servicemen in Karabakh yesterday.
Stating that Hungary always supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Nagy pointed out that there is no alternative to peace and negotiations.
The meeting exchanged views on the prospects of economic cooperation between the two countries. -06B-

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. He raised a sign above his head that read: "Azerbaijani authorities are shooting dogs on the streets!" He also shouted: "Resign those who teach youth to be sycophants under the guise of volunteerism!"
