Baku/29.08.22/Turan: Foreign military contingents taking part in "Vostok-2022" exercises have arrived at the "Sergeyevskiy" training ground in Russia's Primorskiy territory.
Note that the coalition troop groups will practice joint actions. These are servicemen and observers from the CSTO,. Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and partner countries: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Laos, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Syria and Tajikistan. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on August 29th.
The primary mission of strategic command post exercises "Vostok 22" is joint practical actions of the armed forces of Russia and partner countries. Exercises will be held on September 1-7, under the supervision of the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia at several training ranges, as well as in the waters of the Japan Sea.
More than 50,000 servicemen, over 5,000 units of armament and military equipment, 140 aviation units, 60 warships and boats will take part in the exercise "Vostok-2022".
