Baku accused Yerevan of disrupting the truce offered by Russia
Baku/28.07.21/Turan: Azerbaijan accused Armenia of non-compliance with the truce offered by Russia.
"Azerbaijan backed the initiative of the Russian side due to the announcement of truce on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border from 10:00 Baku time. This notwithstanding, the Armenian side continues to escalate the situation and bombard our positions, additionally using tanks and 120-millimeter mortars, "the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan declared.
Note that Russia suggested that the parties declare a ceasefire on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan agreed to the initiative of the Russian side.
The ceasefire was supposed to take effect from 10:00 (09:00 Moscow time). The Foreign Ministry of Armenia agreed with; however, the Defense Ministry of this country made a comment so far, Sputnik Armenia reports. -02D-
