Baku and Budapest to sign a strategic partnership agreement
Prospects for the development of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian relations were discussed on November 3 at Baku meeting between the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Siyarto.
On the results of the talks Mammadyarov at the news conference that the sides discussed bilateral relations as well as cooperation in international organizations.
"We agreed to deepen ties between the two countries. Trade and human communication must further expand," Mammadyarov said, noting that the opening of direct flights Baku-Budapest will give impetus to this.
Siyarto said that next week the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in will pay a working visit to Hungary, during which will be signed a strategic partnership agreement.
"Azerbaijan and Hungary are the strategic partners, and economic relations are developing rapidly.
Trade turnover between the two countries over eight months of this year increased by 18%," said Siyarto. According to him, during Aliyev's visit will also be signed agreements on cooperation in the field of aviation.
The Hungarian Minister said that his country attached great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in the frameworks of the EU "Eastern Partnership" Program.-03C-

"We are strengthening efforts to open direct air routes, as well as economic development and energy," said Djuric. The minister expressed confidence that cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan would become even closer and more intensive in the near future.
