Baku criticizes French Foreign Minister
Baku/07.10.22/Turan: On October 5, answering a question from a member of the French National Assembly, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colona expressed solidarity with the Armenian people and made "completely groundless appeals against Azerbaijan," the comments of the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva.
“It would be good if the official representative of a country advocating the observance of international legal principles, which wants to be a mediator in the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, would take a neutral, impartial and fair position,” Abdullayeva said.
It should be noted that Catherine Colona called the “execution of Armenian prisoners” on September 13 on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border a war crime.
She also called for the withdrawal of Azerbaijani forces from the territory of Armenia and accused Russia of "inability to act as the arbitrator it claimed after the 2020 war." ---02D---
