Baku Hosts European Youth Olympic Festival
Baku / 07.07.19 / Turan: From July 21 to July 27, Baku will host the European Youth Olympic Festival. About 3,000 athletes aged 14-18 from 50 countries will take part in the competition. The competitions will be held in 10 sports - gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. Azerbaijan will be represented by 122 athletes.
Opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Baku Crystal Hall. The ticket will cost 15 manat. The Games will be held at 12 sports facilities. Entry to the competition will be free. The festival will involve 3,500 volunteers. -06D--
