Baku rejects information on purchasing missiles in North Korea
Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Elman Abdullayev, refuted the information on the purchase by Azerbaijan of 70 portable anti-aircraft missiles, surface-to-air, from North Korea.
At today's press conference, he said that a number of media with reference to the UN report, informed about such purchases. However, this is not true.
Abdullayev said that now the try to clarify how such information was included the UN report.
In the report a reference is made to the court materials in the case of the British trader, who revealed the scheme of procurement of such weapons through an intermediary company in North Korea. -16D-

On November 28, another hearing took place in the case of public activist Ilhamiz Guliyev. During the proceedings, the court reviewed a response from the 28th Police Station of the Yasamal District in Baku. At the previous hearing, the defense had requested that the court obtain footage from the surveillance cameras at this police station, where Guliyev was taken on December 4 of last year. However, the police response stated that the video footage had not been preserved.
